You've decided to take on the challenge of living in a foreign country? As you may have noticed, it's not always as easy as one would hope for. In Japan you are most probaby not only dealing with cultural differences but language barriers as well.
We offer a safe and supportive space for foreigners to talk about any issues they're facing. Our volunteers offer advice and helpful information.

At the Sendai Multicultural Center
You can find the Multicultural Center on the 1st Floor of the Sendai Park Building (仙台パークビル）nearby the Municipal office and the Aoba Ward Office.

Who?
Anyone who doesn't speak Japanese as their first language can use our service.
Volunteers, who speak English, Chinese, Korean and Spanish will assist you
*Chinese, Korean and Spanish speaking Volunteers are not present on all consultation days.

Sendai Multicultural Center
The Sendai Multicultural Center provides daily life consultation for foreign residents and offers advice on multicultural community building. The facility also provides multilingual information on daily life in Sendai, as well as Information on Japanese language courses.
OASIS uses space at the Multicultural Center for Consultation hours and to coordinate and collect dispatch requests. Staff at the Multicultural Center might be able to answer questions regarding our operations. To find out more about SenTIA's foreign resident support, please visit their .
